About This Game

Hover is a fast-paced single and multiplayer Parkour game in a futuristic 3D Open World.

The game takes place in ECP17, a high-tech city also called Hover City by its inhabitants and located on a distant planet. The Great Admin cut the communication with the Galactic Union and established a strong dictatorship. Having fun has become illegal and entertainment is banished.



You're in charge of a team of young rebels, the Gamers, fighting against the new anti-leisure laws oppressing the city. Equipped with high-tech gears allowing amazing jumps and speed, they roam the city to sabotage the propaganda, help citizens, and find a way to reach the Orbital Station. This way they could warn the Galactic Union and put an end to the oppression.

Hover is both a single and multiplayer experience. At any time you can instantly switch from offline to online mode and join your friends or players from around the world and progress through the adventure by cooperating or playing against them. No matter where you are and what you’re doing, you’ll be able to connect. Hover is also a community-driven game offering many tools to players to create missions or mini games.

Patch 22:
New Render! Skybox, post-effects, and shaders have been updated and improved to make the game brighter. Performances have improved on low and high graphic settings.

Added unlockable medals after each mission.

Player HUD improvements :

Added a new mission type : drone pursuit.

Main quest has been added, areas like the sewers and prison must now be unlocked.

Completing missions and objectives now give Rank to your team, rank is infinite and will unlock titles in the future.

It is now easier to try a mission again.

Bug fix :
E-swap points status is now correctly updated.

Time doesn’t speed up during the night and is now displayed in sewers and other interiors.

Black and any other dark color can be used for custom sprays.

Map exits and E-Swap points are now displayed on the HUD when scanning.

Catching traitors and items now require you to touch them 3 times.

Jump height increased.

Completing objectives now rewards you with chips.

The gameball in Watabax’ third mission doesn’t go through the ground anymore.

Races against AI don’t have a timer anymore.

AI doesn’t participate in races in the sewers anymore.

Change log:
Added a message from developers on start menu.

Fixed a lighting issue in the sewers.

If a player leaves or disconnects from the game with a gameball, the gameball isn’t untouchable anymore.

Player’s colors and stats are now properly synced online.

Containers item quality isn’t capped anymore. It used to be capped until players entered the prison.

Very low graphic settings have a warmer atmosphere, even with shadows disabled the sunlight stays.

Bugs related to the latest update :
Character animations are now less shaky.
Grind detection height has been capped.
Grinding vibrations are gone and don’t make the player lose speed in some situation anymore.
Sun flare texture is now sharper.. Official release on May 31st!:


Big news today, Hover : Revolt of Gamers will be officially released on May 31st on PC, Mac & Linux.

Expect a big release update with a lot of new content including the Administrative District, the Orbital Station and Krow the new playable character !

We are currently quite busy with various productions, and because of all those works in progress, we are sorry to announce that Hover DLCs are not quite ready yet. The Xbox One version is lagging behind and preventing us from releasing the DLCs on others platforms.

A corrective patch for PC is also planned!

We are sorry for the delay, and are trying our best to release the DLCs as soon as possible!

• Fixed some bumpers and boosters in Haven District.

Debug

• Tweaked the number of points to reach during the final boss to unlock medals.
• Credits were corrected, some people were credited for the wrong things.
• Pet animation in menus isn’t static anymore.
• E-cops don’t teleport directly on the player in the orbital station anymore.
• Added additional information about pets’ satisfaction.
• Pets now properly give stat bonus.
• Some posters didn’t link to the correct codex entry, this has now been fixed.
• E-swap points now give the right type of chips even if you get a bad deal.
• The Rabot now has its avatar displayed correctly during dialogs.
• Hack Containers are now slightly more difficult to hack.
• It’s now impossible to tag a mission objective multiple time.
• Liff’s first grid slot is now unlocked at level 0, which allows players to finish the tutorial by taking the long way out.
